NORTHWEST REGIONAL YOUTH SUMMIT, PRODUCES NEXT GENERATION LEADERS

Youths in the North West Region have taken an engagement to be good examples in the society after  taken part at the first ever edition of the Youth Summit organized in Bamenda . The North West Regional Youth summit first of it kind tookplace from November 19 to 20, 2021 at the Alliance Francais hall in Bamenda under the theme "A New Breed for the new generation".   For the two days, the young persons acquired knowledge on leadership in politics and administration, leadership in education, economics and science, spiritual leadership just to name but this. SOGOC, ACAC WITH MODERN TRADITIONAL DOCTORS TO DOWN MATERNAL MORTALITY RATES

The one day workshop that brought together modern traditional Doctors and herbalists was organized by the Advocacy for Comprehensive Abortion Care (ACAC) an NGO under the canopy of the Society of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians of Cameroon ( SOGOC).     Speaking to participants the national president of SOGOC, Professor emeritus Robert Leke in B'da over the weekend told the traditional healthcare providers to decease from practices that could up the number of mortality and morbidity cases in the region. He revealed that over 700 women die each year in Cameroon as a result of criminal abortions or postpartum hemorrhage. YAOUNDE GEARING UP TO HOST "FESTIVAL ENSEMBLE"

The nation’s political capital Yaounde will from December 17, 2021 to January 2, 2022 host the “Festival Ensemble” powered by DeekayHouse Entertainment Company Limited in partnership with the Yaounde 6 Council.  Loosely translated into English as “We are together Festival”, which will for span 17 days  at the esplande of the Yaounde 6 council is expected to bring together Cameroonian from the four corners of the country. The festival which is in its 2nd edition is meant to enhance  living together and harmony among citizens of the nation who will visite the festive village within the days.
