YAOUNDE GEARING UP TO HOST "FESTIVAL ENSEMBLE"



The nation’s political capital Yaounde will from December 17, 2021 to January 2, 2022 host the “Festival Ensemble” powered by DeekayHouse Entertainment Company Limited in partnership with the Yaounde 6 Council.

 Loosely translated into English as “We are together Festival”, which will for span 17 days  at the esplande of the Yaounde 6 council is expected to bring together Cameroonian from the four corners of the country.

The festival which is in its 2nd edition is meant to enhance  living together and harmony among citizens of the nation who will visite the festive village within the days.

Invited to benefit from this festival are young and upcoming artists who will be given the opportunity to expose their talents and the organisers have made available a cash prize of 1 million FCFA for creative minds in the musical world.

The Winners would also have a complete music album produced for free.

When the festival goes underway in December 17, the population will be treated to music competition, dance exhibitions, visual art, exhibition of various goods and services, a beauty contest amongst others.

There would also be a merry-go-round for kids and a culinary art contest. Organisers say the aim is to celebrate the birth of Christ and enter a new year with love and togetherness. There are also amazing prizes to be won by the population who will visite the festival village daily.

BAFUT SUBDIVISION: SOLDIERS SALUTED FOR JOB WELL DONE.

Materials recovered from Bafut  300 soldiers headed by Colonel Matiang Charles Alain have successfully carried out different operations in Bafut Subdivision one of the stronghole of separatists fighters in the North West Region.  For 6 days the soldiers were able to infiltrate some of the hideout of those who  referred to themselves as "Ambazonia fighters" Brigadier General Nka Valere  To access the operations, the Commander of the 5th Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere and the Commander of the 5th Gendarmerie Region, Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine alongside other top military officials in the Region were on the field on Friday May 1, 2020.
