CAF BOSS DR. PATRICE MOTSEPE DONATE USD 500,000 TO DISPLACED PERSONS IN MOZAMBIQUE

CAF President with a displaced kid CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe donates USD 500 000 to displaced communities in Pemba, Mozambique The President of the Confederation of African Football Dr Patrice Motsepe was in Cabo Delgado communities on Tuesday April 26, 2022 to visit those who were displaced by the military insurgents in Pemba, Mozambique. Dr. Patrice  Motsepe donated USD 500 000 on behalf of the Motsepe Foundation. He was joined by the Governor of Cabo Delgado, Valige Tauabo, CAF General Secretary, Veron Mosengo-Omba, the Mozambique Football Association, President Faizal Sidat, and co-founder and CEO of the Motsepe Foundation, Dr. Precious Moloi-Motsepe. Approximately 2000 displaced community members received football balls and bibs from CAF. PWD of Bamenda The Public Works Department PWD social Football club of Bamenda came into the 2021/2022 MTN Elite one football Season as one of the favourites few days after wining the Cup of Cameroon finals against Astres of Douala. The Abakwa boys were paired with Bamboutos of Mbouda at the opener of the League during which Bamboutos of Mbouda slightly defeated PWD by one goal to Zero.  Many were fast to say that this defeat was as a result of the fatigue and the excitement of the Cup of Cameroon which was played 3 days before. THREE TOP MILITARY OFFICERS INSTALLED IN BAMENDA

The three newly installed   Some 3 top military officers have been installed in Bamenda by the commander of the 5th joint military Region Brigadier General NKA Valere. The three military officers were appointed by a presidential decree on March 30, 2022 assigning them to take over the 6th military sector, the 501 Airforce Base and the command and support Battalion number 5 respectively.   Br.
