CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe donates USD 500 000 to displaced communities in Pemba, Mozambique

The President of the Confederation of African Football Dr Patrice Motsepe was in Cabo Delgado communities on Tuesday April 26, 2022 to visit those who were displaced by the military insurgents in Pemba, Mozambique.

Dr. Patrice  Motsepe donated USD 500 000 on behalf of the Motsepe Foundation.

He was joined by the Governor of Cabo Delgado, Valige Tauabo, CAF General Secretary, Veron Mosengo-Omba, the Mozambique Football Association, President Faizal Sidat, and co-founder and CEO of the Motsepe Foundation, Dr. Precious Moloi-Motsepe.

Approximately 2000 displaced community members received football balls and bibs from CAF.

This action from the CAF boss Dr. Patrice Motsepe comes to add to his numerous humanitarian action accross the African continent and beyond.
