North West Region builds a strong wall against Covid 19
The Governor of North West Region Adolph Lele l'Afrique has called on the population to strictly respect hygiene and sanitation measures put in place by Government to contain the Corona virus. The Governor made the statement in Bamenda on Wednesday March 18, 2020 as he chaired a crises meeting attended by some key stakeholders including health, transport and top security officers in the Region. Henceforth only emergency meetings will be authorised in the Region and with a maximum of fifty persons and measures must be taken to secure participants. He has also advised that all burial ceremonies programmed already be postponed including wedding parties that often than not bring together a huge crowd.
