PWD's POOR PERFORMANCE, SOME PLAYERS PUNISHED FOR BRINGING GIRLS IN CAMP.

PWD of Bamenda

The Public Works Department PWD social Football club of Bamenda came into the 2021/2022 MTN Elite one football Season as one of the favourites few days after wining the Cup of Cameroon finals against Astres of Douala.

The Abakwa boys were paired with Bamboutos of Mbouda at the opener of the League during which Bamboutos of Mbouda slightly defeated PWD by one goal to Zero. 

Many were fast to say that this defeat was as a result of the fatigue and the excitement of the Cup of Cameroon which was played 3 days before.

Being the Champions of the League in the 2019/2020 and the cup winners of 2020/2021 football season fans and supporters of the Club though that after day one defeat PWD of Bamenda will get back to the rail.

However this will not be the case as due to indiscipline in Camp, amongst the indiscipline players some were recently punished and sent back to Bamenda, they were accused of bringing girls into their hotel rooms.

Samuel Eto'o and Abunde Pascal 

With such indiscipline actions in Camp, the output of the Abakwa boys has dramatically dropped despite the financial commitment that the management of club headed by Abunde Pascal has put in place this football season, paying the players all their bonuses on time. To pay back these players need to seat up so as to meet up the expectations of the management and fans of the Club.

As of now PWD of Bamenda have played 9 matches, won 3, 4 draws, 2 defeats. The club occupies the 3 position in group B with 13points and 10points away from the leaders Eding sport who are topping group B with 23points.

It shoud be noted that at the end of the league the 2 top of each group will the playoffs to determine the champions of the 2021/2022 elite one, with a juicy prize of FCFA 50,000,000 as promised by the legendary President of FECAFOOT Samuel Eto'o FILS.

BAFUT SUBDIVISION: SOLDIERS SALUTED FOR JOB WELL DONE.

Materials recovered from Bafut  300 soldiers headed by Colonel Matiang Charles Alain have successfully carried out different operations in Bafut Subdivision one of the stronghole of separatists fighters in the North West Region.  For 6 days the soldiers were able to infiltrate some of the hideout of those who  referred to themselves as "Ambazonia fighters" Brigadier General Nka Valere  To access the operations, the Commander of the 5th Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere and the Commander of the 5th Gendarmerie Region, Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine alongside other top military officials in the Region were on the field on Friday May 1, 2020.
