MBIAME/NKUM: HONORABLE NGAH ESTALA GOES DOWN TO HER PEOPLE DESPITE THE ODDS

 Since her elections in the National Assembly under banner of the Cameroon Peoples Democratic Movement (CPDM) durin the twin elections on February 9, 2020, the Member of Parliament from Bui central Mbiame/Nkum constituency Honorable Ngah Estala Shala has chosen the option to serve her population.

  Given the ongoing crisis in the North West and South West Regions, some inhabitants from her constituency were displaced and now residents in Magba, Foumbam, Koutaba, Foumbot, Bafoussam, Yaounde, Bamenda and other places. Inorder to sustain their living conditions, Honorable Ngah Estala alongside the Mayor of Mbiame, Mayor Shey Williams visited these areas and handed over foodstuff while encouraging them to return home and live comfortable as it was in the past.

After visiting the IPDs, the Member of Parliament Honorable Ngah with a pushed from the Mayor of Mbiame, immediately embark on a "Meet the People tour" within her constituency on Sunday 14th and Monday 15th February 2021.

 For two days, the Member of Parliament, met with the Population of Lip-Mbiame, here the villages gathered in their numbers at the Market Square to welcome and listen to their M.P. who use the ocasion to beg on those still in the bushes to come out and join her in the development process of their area.

 "I di beg wonna, make wonna talk for dis wa pikin them for bush make them commout, them don fool and correct, we no want make any of wa pikin die again because this war..." Hon. Speaking to the population in pidgin language. She added  "I choose to be here on valentine's day because of the love that I share with you people"

Given the health Challenges face by the population of this area, especially as the rains approaching, the August guest brought Cartons of Madication, drugs, 10 mattresses accompany with Pillowcases and bedspreads which was handed over to the health center and a committee was immediately installed to handle activities of health center to the benefit of the population.

On his part the Subdivisional Officer of Mbven Saidou Moussa, expressed his joy with activities regaining steam in his subdivision, he encouraged others who are still out of the subdivision to come back to their homes.

 From Lip, the M.P her delegation carried the same message of Peace to Njanawa, Reh and Refim the head quarter of Mbven subdivision.

At each stop, Honorable Ngah Estala saluted the efforts of the people who are determined in the fight against separatist fighters in their villages.

 On their part the population expressed their joy seeing their M.P coming to them given the challenging of the terrain.

Day two of her tour, Monday February, 15 took her to Mbuhnso another in Mbven subdivision, here she met with a cross-section of the population, who had what can be discribe as a family meeting with her. For close to three hours, the population had the opportunity to appreciate the MP and the Mayor for successfully bringing portable water to their village, however they pleaded that the water should be extended to other parts of Mbiame.

With a prompt response to their worries, the Honorable Member of Parliament said that She will handle the issue in the nearest future, she added that electricity will equally be brought to the village.

"If wonna pikin them no go for school na wonna di lost, make wonna gather pikin make start school. We no di ask for school fees" said the Honorable

After encouraging parents to sent their children to school, she added that they should not relent their efforte in reporting any suspected separatist fighter in the village to the security and Defense forces who are there for their protection. 

Taking into consideration the plight of the people in the areas she visited, the M.P has promised to be back, and this time will visit other areas that she did not visited this time within her constituency.
