NORTH WEST: REGIONAL ASSEMBLY EXECUTIVE TAKES OVER, READY TO HEAL THE WOUNDED HEARTS.

 

Governor, R.A President and R.A Vice President 

The Governor of the North West Region Adolphe Lele Lafrique representative of the state of Cameroon on Friday January 22, 2021 officially installed and presented to the public the Regional Assembly President, the Vice and members of the executive bureau. 

In a colorful event attended by Members of government, representatives of the upper and lower houses of parliament and elites of the Region, the 8 executive of members who were elected on December 22,2020 were tasked by the Governor to serve the people of the region. Adolphe Lele Lafrique described the Regional Assembly boss Prof. Fru III Angwafor Forbushi as a Medical doctor who is coming to heal a sick North West Region with  the right Medication alongside great minds as members of his executive.

 The city mayor of Bamenda in his welcome addressed, challenged the bureau to engage in the cleansing of the land, after describing the Prince of Mankon Prof. Fru Angwafor to be up to the task.

"Your rich traditional background and working alongside the constitutional house of chiefs, you are surely aware that some solutions to our problem lies between our traditional culture. For this, I am convinced you surely know the right quarters to explore. So that we avert the blood bath in the region. We need healing, your election into this office was ordained by the gods of the land. Our Region need cleansing".

On his part the level headed, North West Regional Assembly President Prof. Fru Angwafor III Forbushi called on the population of the Region to join him to start a new page in writing the history of the Region.

"We are one people, let us therefore in a fraternal spirit and as one man committed in nurturing a new North West Region. Formal and informal education at home, school and in the community let us groom our young people men and women to meet the challenging time in building a more prosperous society in an extremely competitive world. You don't someone else, but build self esteem, self confidence. It will no longer come from Yaounde, we will do it here."

The new executive bureau and the general assembly have thus started work. which will make the region to be self reliance. That is solving the challenges at the level of the Region.

WEARING OF FACEMASK: DOUALA, YAOUNDE A CHOICE ELSEWHERE COMPULSORY.

Rondpoint Deido  As I recently walk down the streets of Douala, the economic Capital of Cameroon with my facemask on, I pondered if I was still in Cameroon where the wearing of face marks became compulsory after cases of the Corona Virus kept heightening in the Country. Not wanting to conclude on this, I decided to moved to some popular spots in the town of the good, the bad and the ugly. BAFUT SUBDIVISION: SOLDIERS SALUTED FOR JOB WELL DONE.

Materials recovered from Bafut  300 soldiers headed by Colonel Matiang Charles Alain have successfully carried out different operations in Bafut Subdivision one of the stronghole of separatists fighters in the North West Region.  For 6 days the soldiers were able to infiltrate some of the hideout of those who  referred to themselves as "Ambazonia fighters" Brigadier General Nka Valere  To access the operations, the Commander of the 5th Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere and the Commander of the 5th Gendarmerie Region, Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine alongside other top military officials in the Region were on the field on Friday May 1, 2020. Their first stop was at the Bafut Palace, where they debunked social media rumors that the palace had been burnt by Soldiers.
