MENCHUM; ECUDA BREAKS ALL ODDS TO FIGHT COVID-19 IN ESU


ECUDA enroute to Esu.
An initiative of the president general of the Esu Cultural and Development Association (ECUDA) Mr Ndzo Augustine to donate some material to help fight the spread of the Corona Virus has seen the light of day in Esu village, one of the 21 villages that make up the Fungum Subdivision, Menchum Division in the North West Region of Cameroon.
ECUDA mobilized for the distributions 
The gifts from a freewill solidarity fund contributed by sons and daughters of Esu around the globe, comprised of hand sanitizers, cartons of soap,  tap buckets and a good number of face masks. This items were distributed to all the quarters of the village, Churches, Markets, Parks and the Military barrack from Thursday April 30 through Sunday May 3, 2020.

While the distributions were going on, members of ECUDA used the opportunity to sensitized the population on the dangers of the corona virus and the measures put in place by the Government and the World Health Organization to fight against the spread of  Virus. They equally gave them lessons on how to used the face mask and how to wash their hands.

The population of the village were vary happy to have welcome their Fon back after being away from the village for more a year due to the crisis in the Region. HRH. Kum Achuo Albert ll the fon of Esu who equally doubles as the chairman of the project headed the team to Esu for the excise.

Esu village  as of now is the first village in Menchum division to have carried out such an important distribution and  sensitization campaign to  fight against the spread of the corona Virus.
