NORTH WEST REGION JUBILATE AS BIYA CLOCKS 90.


Meeting at the North West Governors esplanade in Bamenda, supporters and well wisher of H.E Paul Biya, President of the Republic of Cameroon joined the rest of the Country to celebrate his 90th birthday. 

Born on the 13th of February 1933 in Mvemka, H.E Paul Biya admired by many Cameroonians due to his sacrifices towards the nation. At 90 the population of Bamenda massively turnout on Monday February 13, 2023 to wish him well.

The occasion to comemorate the president's birthday in the North West Region was chaired by Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique who described President Paul Biya as an instrument of Peace.

"I will like to ask the North Westerners to Mobilize themselves and pray for the Head of state and to accompany him in the process of bringing back peace in the North West Region". Adolphe Lele

The Member of Parliament for Bafut-Tubah constituency Honorable Agho Oliver, in his message to the head of state on his Birthday, Praise him for being an exemplary father to the nation and North West Region in Particular.

"90 years is a gift from God, We have to celebrate because President Paul  Biya  has demonstrated alot for this Nation". Hon. Agho Oliver

On his part the North West Regional President of the Cameroon National youth council Mekom Samuel outlined some of the benefits given to the youths of the North West Region by the president of the Republic while craving for more.

The celebrations was animated by dance group alongside bike Riders in Bamenda, who paraded some major streets in the towns as they showcased their love to President Paul Biya on his 90th birthday.

BAFUT SUBDIVISION: SOLDIERS SALUTED FOR JOB WELL DONE.

Materials recovered from Bafut  300 soldiers headed by Colonel Matiang Charles Alain have successfully carried out different operations in Bafut Subdivision one of the stronghole of separatists fighters in the North West Region.  For 6 days the soldiers were able to infiltrate some of the hideout of those who  referred to themselves as "Ambazonia fighters" Brigadier General Nka Valere  To access the operations, the Commander of the 5th Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere and the Commander of the 5th Gendarmerie Region, Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine alongside other top military officials in the Region were on the field on Friday May 1, 2020.
