NDAKWAH FOUNDATION REACHES OUT IN MBENGWI

The Ndakwah Foundation has made a giveaway to some beneficiaries in Mbengwi, this was done to mostly youths in order to encourage them as they contribute to the economic growth of the Municipality.

One of the beneficiaries is Mbah Shadrach Gyeh, the president of the Mbengwi Bike riders Union, he was recognized for his efforts in reorganising the bike sector in Mbengwi, ensuring that members actively partake in the monthly clean up Campaigns organised by the Council, successfully advocated for uniform officer to reduce daily control payment from 1000frs to 500frs amongst others.

"I feel so excited because this is something that has never happened to me since I became the president of the bike rider's union, I am so grateful to the foundation". Said Mbah Shadrach

Amongst his package was a jug of fuel according to him this will help him for the next one months.

Another recipient is George Ateh owner of the G-Favour Yoghurt and Gateaux, identified by the foundation to be a very push forward youth, he was offered a 25kg bag of flower.

A beneficiary received her item

Identified to be a single mother Muyang Karen is a shoe vendor at mile 18 Mbengwi, the Ndakwah Foundation added to her shop more shoes in order to help boost up her business.

The Ndakwah Foundation shall be running the following programs:

-The Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) with the focus of helping youths in the municipality to improve on their respective fields.

-The Elderly Reach Out Program (EROP) with the aim of providing material and food assistance to elderly persons.

-The Orphans Reach Out Program (OROP) designed to help orphans and orphanages within Mbengwi by providing to them basic needs like food, cloths, creating income generating activities.

-The Young Mother and Child Reach Out Program (YOMOCROP) that targets children and young girls that have put to birth out wedlock.

-Community Development Program (CODEP) with the aim to seek material assistance to help the community in developmental projects such as water supply, electricity, road rehabilitation amongst others.

Some of the items donated 

The Founder of the Foundation, Madam Ndakwah Karine Mah, says the foundation was created in honor of her late father Pa Stephen Mbah Ndakwah who was a renowned educationist in Mbengwi.

 Based in the United States of America, the founder of the Ndakwah Foundation says she can never forget where she comes from and that is one of her of motivations.

The first project realized by the Ndakwah Foundation took place on December 13, 2022 in Mile 18 Ku-Bome were a total of 11 persons benefited amongst which was the Tuanyang Development Association (TUDA) that received 5 bags of Cement to support the ongoing palace construction.
