"THE SOLUTION", A BOOK TO BRIDGE THE MYTH SURROUNDING PUBLIC SPEAKING

A book titled "The Solution" will see the light of day in Cameroon in the nearest future.

The Solution written by two young dynamic Cameroonians, Lawong Kendra Yaah and Enowmanyi Samuel Ayuk is aimed at bringing a solution to the myth that surrounds public speaking. 

According the the authors, many young people in Cameroon have alot to say which can cause change and bring about development to the country, however putting the idea in a speech form and presenting it to the public is a problem.

After identifying the Challenges face by the young people, who wish to speak publicly but do not have the skills, the authors Lawong and Enowmanyi in the 1st Edition of "The Solution" presents personal experiences and a collection of views on the concept and importance of public speaking.


Lawong Kendra

LAWONG KENDRA YAAH is a holder of M.A in English Language studies obtained from the University of Bamenda where she is currently studying for a PhD in the field of Gender and communicative style in speech arts. The pioneer President of the debate club of the University of Bamenda and founder founder of the Physically Impaired Organisation, Lawong is among the top decorated public speakers in Cameroon who has represented the country in international debate and public speaking competition. She has trained over 1300 young debaters and public speakers in and out Cameroon. 

Enowmanyi Samuel 

ENOWMANYI SAMUEL AYUK is a holder of BS.c in Mass Communication obtained from the Advance School of Mass Communication (ASMAC). The founder of the Debate Clubs of ASMAC and that of the University of Yaounde 1 has been in the field of debate and public speaking for over 5 years. Samuel is also the author of "Own your Speech" and "Why her Not me?". The owner of Talent House Academy, which mentors and trained young Cameroonians was decorated with a Gold medal from the Ministry of Youth and Civil Education couple with other distinctions.

BAFUT SUBDIVISION: SOLDIERS SALUTED FOR JOB WELL DONE.

Materials recovered from Bafut  300 soldiers headed by Colonel Matiang Charles Alain have successfully carried out different operations in Bafut Subdivision one of the stronghole of separatists fighters in the North West Region.  For 6 days the soldiers were able to infiltrate some of the hideout of those who  referred to themselves as "Ambazonia fighters" Brigadier General Nka Valere  To access the operations, the Commander of the 5th Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere and the Commander of the 5th Gendarmerie Region, Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine alongside other top military officials in the Region were on the field on Friday May 1, 2020.
