WEEK ONE: EFFECTIVE BACK TO SCHOOL IN TUBAH SUBDIVISION.

Since the escalation of the crisis in the North West and South West Regions, back to school period in these two Regions have always been very tensed. However this Academic year the narrative seems to be different as thousands of pupils and students defy the call for lockdown and massively turnout on their respective camposes.

Such is the case of Tubah Subdivision host of one of the oldest schools in the country, the Cameroon the College of Arts, Sciences and Technology (CCAST) Bambili and the Parents New Vision Academy a Primary School lacoted in Bambili. Here the Divisional Officer, Massango Metougue  Narcisse after visiting some Primary and Secondary schools is determined to standby the children.

"I am very happy to have seen children massively tournout for classes. I wish to thank the parent who accepted that their children go to school. We want to thank the teacher we met who devoted themselves in teaching these children. want to appreciate the principal and proprietors of making their school campuses ready for school resumption. We are here to encourage the children and let them know that we are here to guide and protect them". Said the Divisional Officer of Tubah

The Divisional officer also frowned on absentee teachers which he discovered their absence as he made round in the various Classes.

"We want to sent a very strong message to recalcitrant teachers who have refuse vehemently to show up in classrooms, that attitude wll be treated accordingly by the rules and regulations enforced" D.O

The principal of CCAST Bambili, Formukom Che Christopher says the turnout this year is as a result of the performance of the school recorded during the CGCE examinations, he also used the occasion to call on other students still at home to hury up and join the academic train..

The Academic year in Tubah has does kickoff hetch free with a good number of Students and pupils present  with determination to learn so as to meet up with their dreams in life.

BAFUT SUBDIVISION: SOLDIERS SALUTED FOR JOB WELL DONE.

Materials recovered from Bafut  300 soldiers headed by Colonel Matiang Charles Alain have successfully carried out different operations in Bafut Subdivision one of the stronghole of separatists fighters in the North West Region.  For 6 days the soldiers were able to infiltrate some of the hideout of those who  referred to themselves as "Ambazonia fighters" Brigadier General Nka Valere  To access the operations, the Commander of the 5th Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere and the Commander of the 5th Gendarmerie Region, Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine alongside other top military officials in the Region were on the field on Friday May 1, 2020.
