AT AWARD OF GM, AZICCUL PRESIDENT REAFFIRMS PAYMENT OF 5% INTEREST TO MEMBERS

The dual behind AZICCUL

The president of Azire Cooperative Credit Union dubbed AZICCUL has once again stressed that the union is aiming towards paying the 5% interest rate as promised during the Union's last annual general meeting.

President Divine Momuluh was speaking during the award ceremony organized to honour the General Manager Lembe Pius who received an award from the Life Time Media group and the award to some meritorious staff last Saturday July 23, 2022 at Ayaba hotel.

Being a laudable initiative which commenced this year to award staff of the Union.

 "... this is a tradition which has come to AZICCUL to stay. We want to encourage every staff old or new that they should take their jobs at the Union as their personal business and urge you to take your work seriously. For us to recognize a staff, they must earn it by dedicating their time and life to the growth of the Union..." Divine Momuluh said.

Speaking during the award ceremony, the General Manager Lembe Pius presented some ground breaking statistics about the Union which his managerial expertise has been able to grow the Union this far lips and bounds.

 "Before I was appointed, AZICCUL had existed for 44years and in 2012, the share savings and deposit was above eighteen billion. From 2012 to June 2022, it rose up to above fourty billion CFA. During the same period, loan portfolio rose from nine billion to twenty four billion and membership grew to 63,893 members as well as an increase of seven branches..." GM Lembe Pius expantiated.

The AZICCUL General Manager saluted the hardworking staff for standing by him to produce such an excellent statistics since the creation of the Union while encouraging them to keep on working more to continuously see to the growth of the Union.

The award by the Life Time Media group held in Bafoussam on June 23, 2022 under the distinguish patronage of the governor of the West region, Awa Fonka Augustine. Tim Finian the CEO of the media group explained that the Board of AZICCUL decided that the award be handed to the chief pilot Lembe Pius given the results he has been producing and which led to a cross section of traditional rulers from the South West and North West region's to recognize the AZICCUL General Manager traditionally.

 "I want to reiterate that giving an award to someone we don't ask that person to give us money, we do it like some sought of encouragement for the laureates to do more of the services the person does in this our beloved Nation." Tim Finian highlighted.

The award ceremony by the General Manager of AZICCUL, Lembe Pius also had himself and four other staff duly awarded by the BOD for the growth witnessed in their respective branches of the Union.

BAFUT SUBDIVISION: SOLDIERS SALUTED FOR JOB WELL DONE.

Materials recovered from Bafut  300 soldiers headed by Colonel Matiang Charles Alain have successfully carried out different operations in Bafut Subdivision one of the stronghole of separatists fighters in the North West Region.  For 6 days the soldiers were able to infiltrate some of the hideout of those who  referred to themselves as "Ambazonia fighters" Brigadier General Nka Valere  To access the operations, the Commander of the 5th Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere and the Commander of the 5th Gendarmerie Region, Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine alongside other top military officials in the Region were on the field on Friday May 1, 2020.
