MASSIVE TURNOUT, AS RANGERS FC BAFUT DID NOT DISAPPOINT THEM

In a day 6 fixture at the ongoing MTN Elite 2 Championship in Pole "B" between home side Rangers FC Bafut and Unisport of Bafang at the University of Bamenda football field in Bambili, played on Wednesday May 18, 2022, Supporters trooped in their thousands to support their darling team Rangers FC of Bafut despite the tense environment.

Amongst these diehard supporters was the Divisional Officer for Tubah Subdivision Mr. Narcisse Metougue, who watched the game from start to finished while appreciating the huge turnout which to him helped in giving Rangers FC Bafut the victory.

"I am impressed with the support, with this i am motivated to organize a football tournament here in Tubah Subdivision so as to engage the youths of the Subdivision who are so passionate about the game." Said the Divisional Officer.

Rangers FC Bafut had a mastery in the first half of the game with 2 goals from Katche Boris and 1 from Ndiforchu Blaise. Despite all attempts from Unisport of Bafang in the last 45 minutes, the boys led by Coach Anumewa Franklin were more powerful than the visitors.

The President of Unisport of Bafang Donald  Kamemi says his players were not up to the task because of the present context in the Region, to him, this made his players not to be confident especially during the first half of the game. However he is positive that the team will bounce back when they travel to Douala to face Leopards FC on Sunday.

Inorder to meet up with their objectives set at the beginning of the season that is to be promoted in Elite one Championship, Ranger Fc need to win all their remaining games, beginning with Ngaoundere Fc on Sunday May 22, 2022 in Bambili.
