Municipal Updates Newspaper 

After publishing 195 editions, Municipal Update Newspaper paper, a paper aimed at promoting community and Municipal development goes daily as from Monday.

The paper which was first published in 2015 has been able to inform and bring to the limelight Municipalities and other societal issues in the country and beyond.

In 2019, the Paper went biweekly and as from monday January 31, 2022 Municipal updates become the second English language Newspaper to go daily in Cameroon.

Inorder to sustain this move, the publisher, Cham Victor Bama has set up an ultramodern printing press with an up-to-date printing machine that can serve the purpose.

"We are ready to meet up with the expectations of our readers, we have recruited young, talented and energetic journalists who are ready to deliver just in time". Said Cham Victor

Given the high demand from french readers, the publisher has promise that in the next 90 days from the date of the launch of the daily newspaper, the French vision will hit the stands alongside Municipal Afrique, a magazine to expose the communal development in Central Africa. He has also promise to set up a TV station in the nearest future.

After gaining practical knowledge on Journalism from the Cameroon Radio Television, Crtv North West Regional Station, Cham Victor decided to move to the University of Buea were he obtained a degree in Journalism and mass communication. 

Immediatey after his graduation, Cham was solicited by a couple of madia organs, however the burning desire in him to become a publisher will not let him accept the various offers.

According to him, it was not easy after passing through various challenges and barriers, that finally landed him as the Youngest outstanding newspaper publisher in Cameroon who is determined to transform the media landscape in Cameroon and beyond.

The launch of Municipal Update daily is expected to take place this Sunday in Yaounde, Cameroon's political capital.

BAFUT SUBDIVISION: SOLDIERS SALUTED FOR JOB WELL DONE.

Materials recovered from Bafut  300 soldiers headed by Colonel Matiang Charles Alain have successfully carried out different operations in Bafut Subdivision one of the stronghole of separatists fighters in the North West Region.  For 6 days the soldiers were able to infiltrate some of the hideout of those who  referred to themselves as "Ambazonia fighters" Brigadier General Nka Valere  To access the operations, the Commander of the 5th Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere and the Commander of the 5th Gendarmerie Region, Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine alongside other top military officials in the Region were on the field on Friday May 1, 2020.
