YOUTH EXCELLENCE AWARD: 15 YOUTHS AWARDED FOR THEIR CONTRIBUTION TO NATION BUILDING.

Governor with Laureates 

 Some youths in the North West Region have been recognized with the second edition of the "Youth Excellence Award".

 In total 15 Youths were carefully selected for their outstanding achievements from vary domains, cutting across, food processing, woodwork, technology, Sport, Agriculture, Civil society amongst others.

They each received their award on February 11, 2021 after listening to a replay of the head of states address to youths. Adolphe Lele lafrique, Governor of the North West Region used the ocasion to challenged other Youths of the region to follow the example of the recipients. 

 Ndi Tsembon Elvis Junior, is the Secretary General of FECAFOOT North West Regional Bureau, he is one of the laureates of this year's edition of the Youth Excellence Award.

"Since I was appointed on the 16th of January 2019, we've been able to win the league, no other bureau have done so, we've been able to promote two teams, Foncha Street FC into the National Division two and Vision Sport into the women's division one championship. This youth Excellence Award is more like booster to my team and I to do more..."  

said Ndi Tsembom, who doubles as the Promoter of "The Observer 237" and is the Current President of the Cameroon Association of English Speaking Journalists, Northwest chapter.

Regional Delegate MINJEC 

The youth Excellence Award was first initiated last Year by the North West Regional Delegate for Youths and Civic Education, Nimpa Bonaventure with a push from the Governor of North West Region Adolphe Lele lafrique, who declared at the close of the event, that his wish for the Award is to see it go beyond the boarders of the Region, while hoping that next year's edition will be more grandiose in a more peaceful North West Region and free from the health pandemic.

BAFUT SUBDIVISION: SOLDIERS SALUTED FOR JOB WELL DONE.

Materials recovered from Bafut  300 soldiers headed by Colonel Matiang Charles Alain have successfully carried out different operations in Bafut Subdivision one of the stronghole of separatists fighters in the North West Region.  For 6 days the soldiers were able to infiltrate some of the hideout of those who  referred to themselves as "Ambazonia fighters" Brigadier General Nka Valere  To access the operations, the Commander of the 5th Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere and the Commander of the 5th Gendarmerie Region, Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine alongside other top military officials in the Region were on the field on Friday May 1, 2020.
