H.E. Paul Biya on duty

This day February 13, 2021, Paul Biya celebrates his 88 birthday holding the record the eldest President and the second longest serving head of states in Africa, being in power for 39 years.

He is the head of the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM), that has won all Presidential elections since the Party was created on the 24th March 1985 in Bamenda.

President in a public gathering

Many Cameroonians hold the opinion that, the President is ageing out and need to retire for a younger person to take over the affairs of the Republic, this according to them, explains why the President is always been represented in occasion that ought to be chaired by him. This class of people added that the crisis in the North West and South West Regions which has now turn to an arm conflict is proof that Paul Biya can no longer Manage the affairs of the country.

However his supporters feel that, he is still very compitent to rule country so far as God keeps him. Since he won the last Presidential elections of October 2018, President Paul Biya has not been seen in public gathering not upto 10 times.
