AziCCUL: TAKES ANOTHER STEP WITH A NEW PRESIDENT

About 2000 members of Azire Co-oporative Credit Union Limited on Saturday October 31, 2020 in Bamenda for their 51st Annual General Meeting. After the deliberations and exchanges , the members of the Union then Proceeded to election of a new president and executives to head the affairs AziCCUL.

At the end of the elections, Barrister Divine Momuluh was elected president of the Credit Union with over 1600 votes to his favor.

"I want to say that history has been made here at Azire Co-oporative Credit Union, that I Barrister Momuluh Divine has been elevated as the youngest President ever to head one of the biggest Credit Unions in the entire Cameroon. I wish to thank all the members who contributed for this dream to come true, I wish to equally thank those who didn't vote for me, their action is a sense of Democracy". Said the new president.

With an increasing number of m members (44,443 in 2018 and 46,744 in 2019) into the Credit Union, the new president and his board knows exactly the challenges that lies ahead of them and are expected to be responsible on behalf of the entire membership the Union.

"We will work to maintain the status of Azire Co-oporative credit union, so that at the end we all will enjoy the benefit of belonging to the Union". Bar. Divine Momuluh

He will be assistant by Madam Mary Sumuta who was equally voted during the Annual General meeting and has promised to protect the interest of Women in the Credit Union.

MELODIOUS CHORALE INAUGURAL CONCERT MET THE STANDARD

Melodious Chorale on stage Worshipers and Gospel music lovers in Bamenda have been inspired with choral songs during the inaugural concert of Melodious Chorale on the theme "Open heavens" on Sunday September 13, 2020 at the Alliance francais hall Bamenda, Cameroon Melodious Chorale was created in 2019 by Mrs Warah C. BAFUT SUBDIVISION: SOLDIERS SALUTED FOR JOB WELL DONE.

Materials recovered from Bafut  300 soldiers headed by Colonel Matiang Charles Alain have successfully carried out different operations in Bafut Subdivision one of the stronghole of separatists fighters in the North West Region.  For 6 days the soldiers were able to infiltrate some of the hideout of those who  referred to themselves as "Ambazonia fighters" Brigadier General Nka Valere  To access the operations, the Commander of the 5th Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere and the Commander of the 5th Gendarmerie Region, Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine alongside other top military officials in the Region were on the field on Friday May 1, 2020.
