Elderly Persons
The project manager at REWAC Jingko Laura in an interview with the media said
“The essence of this outing  was to support elderly persons, widows and heads of families affected by Covid-19. It is a way REWAC came out to support them to combat Covid-19 by giving them food because it has affected so many of them for they don’t have food, wash equipment’s like savon and other things including sanitary pads. It is our own way with our partners to support them during this challenging period of the pandemic.”

Explaining the reasons for chosen the elderly people as beneficiaries, Jingko Laura ascertained that they are more vulnerable since they do not have the energy like the young ones to run around to see how they can help themselves while with the advent of the crisis, the heads of families take care of IDP’s that have come to the municipality from different places.
