PWD OF BAMENDA ; MANAGEMENT CELEBRATE LEAGUE TITLE WITH PLAYERS

The Management of PWD  Football club have celebrated their league title in a first come together with Players after they were declared champions of Cameroon for the 2019/2020 football season.

The meeting with the player took place on Saturday June 20, 2020 in Bamenda. On behalf of the players the team Captain Louis Mbah appreciated the Management and the technical staff for their determination to  make Pwd of Bamenda champion of Cameroon. He also saluted the efforts of the always present fans of the club who are a strong motivating factor to the players.

The most solicited Couch in Cameroon as of now Pagou David was very happy to meet his boys after close to three months of break. while presenting his balance sheet for the season, couch Pagou nerrated how nobody believed in the team at the beginning of the league especially when he and his boys had to trained in "Mexico" a muddy pitch at old Town Bamenda.
"We Merit the title, we did not steal it, I counted on you guys, Bamboutos, Union, Coton were recruiting big names but here you were the ones. I am a middleman between you and the management so I know we have a humble team,  we do not have enough money like others that is why am here to help the Management, am here so that you have at least something, we were on all the headline news in Cameroon because of your performance..." Coach Pagou David said while the players addressing the players.

The Coach used the opportunity to appreciate the individual efforts of some players who help him to achieve this dream; Boung Joel Odoa, Ndeh Colins, Burinyuy Derrick, Leon Boyomo and Nchindo John Bosco who is described as the Revelation of the season.
 "when I came to Bamenda and the technical Director Tama Wango  presented the team, I saw a very young boy doing good at the level of the midfield and I told Tama this child has alot of potentials I will pushed him and fine out what he is best at and you as know during the game against Canon in Yaounde he is the one who scored the two goals, he is very courageous, its all left to him to remain discipline and i have told him to be very careful with those coming around him in the name of Managers" Coach Pagou
Coach handing action plan for Next Season 
While presenting his planned of action in a document handed over to the Management, Coach Pagou David who recently renewed his contract, called on the players to get their passports ready as they prepare to go International.

On his part, the team President Pascal Abunde lauded the efforts of the management, the technical bench, the players, the Press, the fans and the Elites of the North West Region who contributed one way or the other for the success that the team celebrates today. He challenged the players to always believed that everything is possible even as they prepare to go International saying that it will a great opportunity for all if the club reaches the second of the CAF Champions League.

"At the beginning of the league after watching the opening game  Bamboutos Vs Columbe, I called the coach asking him that is he sure that this his recruitment will take this team to anywhere?. And then he gave me a very simple answer, President Ndamba na fo Field therefore we can go beyond expectations"
Nde Colins being celebrated as the best player of the team
The President used the occasion to named the overall best player for PWD of Bamenda in the person of Nde Colins and the highest goal scorer for the team with 11 goals Leon Boyomo. He promised the two that during the presentation of the trophy in another grandiose ceremony they will be compensated.
Coach's contract extended
Asked if the club had received anything from  Fecafoot as champions of the league, President Pascal Abunde said Nothing has been given to the team as of now accept what was privately sent to all players in Cameroon to assist them during this period of Covid-19.
"I think this championship tilte is an opportunity for the authorities to gave us a play ground here in Bamenda, have we imagine a certain PWD vs Tepe Mazebe here in Bamenda?"

 President Pascal Abunde also disclosed that in the days head the office of the club will be moving to a new site at up station Bamenda with a well equipped gymnasium and a shop where kits of the club can be bought.

BAFUT SUBDIVISION: SOLDIERS SALUTED FOR JOB WELL DONE.

Materials recovered from Bafut  300 soldiers headed by Colonel Matiang Charles Alain have successfully carried out different operations in Bafut Subdivision one of the stronghole of separatists fighters in the North West Region.  For 6 days the soldiers were able to infiltrate some of the hideout of those who  referred to themselves as "Ambazonia fighters" Brigadier General Nka Valere  To access the operations, the Commander of the 5th Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere and the Commander of the 5th Gendarmerie Region, Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine alongside other top military officials in the Region were on the field on Friday May 1, 2020.
