MENCHUM: ECUDA SECOND PHASE, FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19 HOPEFUL


Distribution of the kits 
The Esu Cultural and Development Association ECUDA has rounded off the second phase of the distribution of kits fight against the spread of Covid-19 in Esu fondom alongside other, neighboring villages including  Zhoa and Wum.Just like in the first phase, the  second phase of the project to stop covid-19 from entering Esu is an initiative of the President General of ECUDA Mr Ndzo Augustine.
The delegation that went down to Esu and other villages in Menchum was headed by the secretary General of the Esu Cultural and Development Association (ECUDA) Mr Bong Valentine with high instructions from his President.

The Fon in action 
On board to receive the delegation in Esu was the chairman of the sensitisation commitee His Rural Highness the fon of Esu Kum Achuo Albert II alongside his notables. In his remark he thanked ECUDA for bringing such an initiative, he further dished a lion share of his appreciation to all the sons and daughters of Esu all over the world for their generous contributions not only to protect their village but neighboring villages and the administration in Menchum.
A post with some recipients
Facemask, hand sanitizer, buckets, soap, stickers with messages about Covid-19 and a consignment of basic drugs we're distributed during this second phase.
The materials were distributed to the population of the Gayama basin right down the borders with the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The head of the sensitisation commitee the fon of Esu also led the delegation to the senior Divisional officer for Menchum in Wum and to Zhoa where he also handed covid-19 preventive kits to the Divisional officer for  Fungom subdivision.
From the administration he stopped over in the fon's palace in Weh and the hospital, then to Menkaf, where he equally handed some of materials  to the fon of Kuk and rounded off with the fon of Kumfudu.

All the above particularly the administration expressed their sincere appreciation to the Esu Cultural and Development Association (ECUDA) through their fon who is the head of the sensitisation commitee. The Senior Divisional Officer in Wum disclosed that no village in Menchum had come up with such a wonderful initiative to accompany the Government to fight Covid-19.
He praised Esu Cultural and Development Association for collaborating with the Administration. Same words of appreciation were rendered by the Divisional officer for Fungom in Zhoa.

BAFUT SUBDIVISION: SOLDIERS SALUTED FOR JOB WELL DONE.

Materials recovered from Bafut  300 soldiers headed by Colonel Matiang Charles Alain have successfully carried out different operations in Bafut Subdivision one of the stronghole of separatists fighters in the North West Region.  For 6 days the soldiers were able to infiltrate some of the hideout of those who  referred to themselves as "Ambazonia fighters" Brigadier General Nka Valere  To access the operations, the Commander of the 5th Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere and the Commander of the 5th Gendarmerie Region, Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine alongside other top military officials in the Region were on the field on Friday May 1, 2020.
