MECUDA: KICK OUT COVID-19, D.O CHALLENGED THEM TO ALSO KICK OUT TERRORISM.

Sons and Daughters of Meta accross the world under the umbrella of the Meta Cultural and Development Association (MECUDA) In collaboration with Fobang Foundation on Thursday May 7, 2020 at the Mbon motor parks donated a good number of tap buckets, face mask, soap and hand sanitizers to help fight the spread of the corona Virus Pandemic within the area.

The Mayor of Mbengwi Council Mr Ndangsa Kenedy in his welcome address appreciated the President General of MECUDA, the Member of Parliament For Momo East constituency and the Meta Student Association for thinking about the people of Meta during this dificult period of the global health crisis.
The mayor used the opportunity to called on the population of his municipality to respect the all measures put in place by the Government so as to staysafe and limit the of  the corona Virus.

The Member of Parliament For Momo East constituency Honorable Injoh  F. N Prodencia Promised the population of her total support especially in the domain of education.
"I as the Honorable Member of Parliament has also supported this initiative, as an agent of development, it will not be proper to work with a sick community that is why I took this important assignment to ensure that my community is healthy. MECUDA has come out as one man to fight against Covid-19, under the canopy of health, education is equally important, our Subdivision has suffered enormously children not going to school for more than three years now. I want to challenged MECUDA to also come out and ensure that our children all go to school whenever schools will resume. I pledge to register the first five pupils in all the schools within my constituency, I shall be responsible for their registration fee" 
The Parliamentarian equally mentioned that the Minister of Supreme State Audit Madam Mbah Acha Rose has also promised  basic school needs to pupils and students as well as special prizes to outstanding students in the Municipality.
The MP encouraged the traditional rulers to bring up developmental projects at the level of the council which she says will be finance with parliamentary grants.

On his part the Divisional Officer for Mbengwi Central Sakwe Jarvis while thanking MECUDA for such an initiative to fight against the spread of the corona Virus in Meta, Challenged the Association to also create a Meta Anti-terrorists response so as to collectively put an end to the activities of the separatists fighters within the sub-division.

The Divisional Officer added that the Government is ready to welcome and intergrate all those who will Voluntaryly drop their arms and leave the bushes. "we have been facing alot of security challenges that has brought down the economy of our Subdivision, this security challenges are not cause by animals in the bushes but are cause by our Sons and daughters, if MECUDA successfully came up with an initiative to fight the Virus, I think they should also create an Anti-terrorists commissions that will  fight those that have been called from the underworld to bring disorder in this Subdivision". Said Sakwe Jarvis Divisional Officer for Mbengwi Central.

According to the cordinator of the project madam Tebi Beatrice, 100 volunteers amonngst which are health expert have been trained to help sensitize and  distribute the items to an estimated population of 38,128 within Mbengwi sub-division.

BAFUT SUBDIVISION: SOLDIERS SALUTED FOR JOB WELL DONE.

Materials recovered from Bafut  300 soldiers headed by Colonel Matiang Charles Alain have successfully carried out different operations in Bafut Subdivision one of the stronghole of separatists fighters in the North West Region.  For 6 days the soldiers were able to infiltrate some of the hideout of those who  referred to themselves as "Ambazonia fighters" Brigadier General Nka Valere  To access the operations, the Commander of the 5th Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere and the Commander of the 5th Gendarmerie Region, Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine alongside other top military officials in the Region were on the field on Friday May 1, 2020.
