It is for this reason that the Mandela Voluntary Foundation Cameroon (MANVOFCAM) a youth led organisation on Wednesday May 6, 2020 started a campaign within the Bamenda 1 Municipality to fill up the empty tap buckets stationed at strategic areas to fight against the spread of the corona Virus.

Coordinator of MANVOFCAM |
The Coordinator the Foundation Samuel Atigi says he was motivated to start the campaign because people are willing to wash their hands but unfortunately there is no water especially in Bamenda 1 council area. The coordinator used the opportunity to called on others to join the campaign so as to provide water within the municipality and beyond.
"we are going to continue with the project, others are encourage to join or help us. For now we do not have any funding apart from Farmer Tanton who has donated his car and provided the for this activity. So when we have fuel and the ability we will always be on the field to distribute water" said Samuel Atigi.

She encouraged the Foundation to continue with the same spirit for they will be supported by the Council.
