HON. OLIVER AGHO SALUTED BY SOME YOUTH LEADERS

"I Oliver Agho Bamenju will never say to any one to drop their gun and leave the bush, I did not give anybody a gun or sent them into the bushes, but my approach towards development and empowering the youths in my constituency will make the guns to be heavy in their hands, they will then voluntarily drop them and join the train. Despite the threats and discouragements, I still took the bold step to stand for the elections, firstly because I have God and secondly I knew the youths will stand for me, my ambitions for the next five years is to work so that the old guard will voluntarily gave way for the youths, that can be seen in What I have started doing on the field, I have been to Bambui and Bafut already"

The newly elected member of parliament for Mezam-North (Bafut-Tubah) constituency Honorable Oliver Agho Bamenju made the above statement amongst others on Saturday 25,2020 in presences of some youth leaders who came under banner of the "Coalition of Youth Civil Society Organizations of the North West Region" to congratulate the Honorable for his brilliant elections into the National Assembly. 
According to the youths, Honorable Oliver Agho being a Young person like them will understand their plight and will better represent them in the Lower house of Assembly were the laws of the Country  are made.

The Youth leaders exclained that he is "God sent", that explains why he was able to win "in an allez et retour match" on February 9 and the rerun on March 22, 2020 respectively.

 The Coalition of Youth civil Organizations who equally refers to themselves as Visionary youths, is a team of 10 dynamic and development oriented young civil society activists, who made up the pioneer executives of the Cameroon National Youth Council (CNYC) in Bamenda and today are serving as “Advisory Board Members” to the same institution. The goal of this team is to positively contribute to the growth and development of the community through youth mobilization and civic engagement for the progress and benefit of all.

The youth leaders hope that Honorable Oliver Agho Bamenju the new Member of parliament for Mezam-North (Bafut-Tubah) Constituency patronize them in their social entrepreneurship, business contracts, civil society activism, education, agriculture and volunteerism.

BAFUT SUBDIVISION: SOLDIERS SALUTED FOR JOB WELL DONE.

Materials recovered from Bafut  300 soldiers headed by Colonel Matiang Charles Alain have successfully carried out different operations in Bafut Subdivision one of the stronghole of separatists fighters in the North West Region.  For 6 days the soldiers were able to infiltrate some of the hideout of those who  referred to themselves as "Ambazonia fighters" Brigadier General Nka Valere  To access the operations, the Commander of the 5th Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere and the Commander of the 5th Gendarmerie Region, Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine alongside other top military officials in the Region were on the field on Friday May 1, 2020.
