Government delegate to the Bamenda city , goes on his knees during the installation of the new Senior Divisional Officer for Mezam on Tuesday October 22, 2019.

The Government delegate to the Bamenda City council, Vincent Nji Ndomu in his welcome addressed during the installation ceremony of the New Senior Divisional Officer for Mezam, Mr Mooh Emile Simon, grabbed the opportunity to craved for peace on behalf of the population, in relation to the socio political crises rocking the Northwest and Southwest Regions for close to three Years now. While on his knees, the Government delegate made the following statement in the Pidgin language
"I go on my knees, adi beg wonna we brother dem for Northwest and Southwest,  the killings weh we don kill we own people dem, the suffer weh we don suffer, we pikin dem no di go school, we don born houses, even if na waity ei don vex we, make we think about we selves as human beings,  we nover Know of any people weh dem no get problem, time don reach make we put God first our heart......" He continued in the same language, appealing that we are matured enough in solving our own problems as brothers and sisters, no matter our differences. The action from the Government Delegate appealing on his knees, shows high need for peace in the Country. This will be more effective if he takes this action to towards the local communities and should be followed by other stakeholders.
