Four years ago, his life changed forever when a routine hospital visit revealed that his blood sugar levels were dangerously high. “I first discovered I had diabetes about four years ago. At the time, I was always feeling very tired, thirsty, and going to the toilet too often,” Sylvester recalls. “I thought it was just stress because of the crisis here in Bamenda, but when I finally went to the hospital, the doctor asked for a blood test. On Sunday mornings, while some chose to go to church, stay at home or do other activities, at a dusty field in the Foncha Street neighborhood, located in the Bamenda III Subdivision, men and women from all works of life including teachers, doctors, truck drivers, and retirees gather not only to play football but to reclaim a sense of purpose, belonging, and peace amidst the chaos. Mayor  The Mayor of Bamenda ll Chenwi Peter have supported the Construction of the PC Ntamulung Manse with over 100 bags of cement. Matching actions to word, Mayor Chenwi Peter who is also a member of the Christian Men Fellowship (CMF) of PC Ntamulung made available the bags of Cement just as he promised during the handing over of the second national flag to CMF Ntamulung last Sunday February 22, 2025. The Presbyterial Secretary for Mezam who is also the parish Pastor of PC Ntamulung, the Rev. Teneng Lucas during his sermon on sunday March 2, 2025 saluted the mayor for his action and encourage others to follow suit. D.O of Tubah in Action  A Road Safety Campaign has been launched on the Bambui-Bambili stretch of road headed by the Divisional Office of the Tubah Municipality Massango Metougue Narcisse.      On Wednesday November 1, 2023, during the second day of  the exercise, the Divisional Officer, and the Mezam Divisional Delegate of Transport along a team of Road safety experts each took time to sensitize drivers and passengers on road safety measures, focusing on execissive speed and the wearing of seatbelts.   Road Safety Campaign Experts The road users were also advised to always be in possession of their National Identity Cards including their car documents while on the road as well as making sure their Cars are in good shape.   PWD and YOSA According to the North West Regional Fecafoot President,  Construction works on the Ntaafi Staduim which was Launched about 8 months ago stands at 30% .  This was a stadium that works were initially suppose to last for 3 months with the hope that PWD Social Football Club and Yong Sport Academy both Clubs based in Bamenda will play atleast the Second Round of the 2022/2023 football season. On the eve of December 31, 2022 the date that the stadium was to be delivered, Mbigha Felix, North West FECAFOOT President who doubles as the Mayor of Bamanda I Council host to the Stadium in Ntaafi in a press briefing explains reasons why the stadium will not be delivered on the first date that he had announced, he however promise that all was in place for the stadium to see the light of day in the nearest future, 5 months after the stadium is not ready and according to him works at the site stands at 30%.
