BAFUT SUBDIVISION: MILITARY CONTINUES "CLEAN-UP OPERATION"

Material seized during Bafut 2 operation.
The operation dubbed Bafut 2, lasted for 7 days with 300 soldiers headed by Colonel Matiang Charles Alain.
The results of the operation were presented at the Bamenda airport on Tuesday June 2, 2020 to the Commander of the 5th military Region Brigadier General Nka Valere and the Commander of the Gendarnerie Region Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine.

According to Colonel Matiang Charles Alain, the Bafut 2 operation was much more easier than Bafut 1 operation (https://camraisenews.blogspot.com/2020/05/300-soldiers-headed-by-colonel-matiang.html?m=1)  given that they already had a mastering of the field thanks to the assistance of the population who were more collaborative this time.

This second operation in Bafut had as mission to track down the leaders of the armed Seperatist fighters with hidouts in Achenie, Akosia and Nchum all villages in Bafut Subdivision. Before reaching Achene the village of Ngwa Saidou Njiyang also known as General Aladji or General Deadman, here the "Amba General" had escape with his wife leaving behind his grandmother, Mother and two daughters.
In Nchum the Military during the operation unmasked the production center of improvise explosive devises and local made guns which was immediately destroyed. The military also extended the operation to the Bafut forest.

The Commander of the 5th military Region Brigadier General Nka Valere congratulated Colonel Matiang Charles Alain and all the soldiers who went down to the field. While facing  the press General Nka Valere sent a message to those he referred to as his fake colleagues generals. "Let me sent a message to our dear colleagues the fake generals and their men let them drop their weapons and stop living in the bush as animals. They have been deceived by those in the diaspora who spent their time speaking grammar and living well with their families"

The Brigadier General added that they should  drop their weapons and join the reconstruction process in the Northwest and South West Regions.To the population, General Nka reassured them that the military is there for their security and that they need to collaborate more with the military so as to put an end to the activities of the armed Seperatist fighters who have brought more pain to suffering population of the North West and South West Regions.

On his part Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine, congratulated the population for supporting the military in their mission to take care of their security. General Ekongwese  expressed his Joy that the population especially that of Bafut both home and abroad are more collaborative, this he wished that other areas should copy from the population of Bafut.

A good number of Dane guys, materials used in the fabrication of improvise explosive devises, six motorbikes, a tricycle and eight Vehicles amongst which is a track belonging to the Bafut council were all recovered during this second operation in Bafut. A human skull was also recovered from the house of "General Aladji" which is believed was use in the fabrication of "Odeshi".

BAFUT SUBDIVISION: SOLDIERS SALUTED FOR JOB WELL DONE.

Materials recovered from Bafut  300 soldiers headed by Colonel Matiang Charles Alain have successfully carried out different operations in Bafut Subdivision one of the stronghole of separatists fighters in the North West Region.  For 6 days the soldiers were able to infiltrate some of the hideout of those who  referred to themselves as "Ambazonia fighters" Brigadier General Nka Valere  To access the operations, the Commander of the 5th Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere and the Commander of the 5th Gendarmerie Region, Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine alongside other top military officials in the Region were on the field on Friday May 1, 2020.
